What Does Comprehensive Car Insurance Cover Me For?
Comprehensive car insurance is essential to have if your car is worth over £2,000 or over. If your car is involved in an accident, damages to both your car and the third parties vehicle are covered.
Is My Vehicle Covered If It Gets Stolen?
YES. Your car is insured if it gets stolen, however this does NOT mean you are insured against all types of theft.
For example, if you declare that you have got a thatcham approved Cat 1 or 2 immobiliser fitted to your vehicle and fail to produce a certificate. Your policy can be VOID for theft cover.
Is My Windscreen Covered?
YES. In most comprehensive car insurance, windscreen cover is added within the policy.
Will a Windscreen Claim Affect My No Claims Bonus?
NO. Windscreen claims do NOT affect a policy. Your no claims bonus will not be affected in any way. Please note windscreen claims has an excess which is normally around £50 / £60 depending on the insurer.
